Moors Master Grievance Committee -  Reminders

Parking Rules & Regulations: BOOT ENFORCEMENT

1. Residents may not park in guest parking spaces.

2. Visitors may not park in guest parking spaces for more than five consecutive days or for a total of no more than 10 days within a 30 day period.

3. Live-in guest(s) must use the property Owner’s designated parking space or driveway.

4. The boot device immobilizes your vehicle until arrangements are made through security at 305-821-9327 to pay the advanced deposit against a fine. Failure to make such arrangements within 24 hours of your vehicle being booted may result in your vehicle being towed. First violation will result in a warning sticker being issued. Second incident for the same type of violation within a six month period will result in your vehicle being booted/$50 fine. Subsequent incident for the same type of violation within a six month period will result in your vehicle being booted/$50 fined or towed. If your vehicle was booted and you paid the fine, you need to attend a Hearing with the Moors Master Grievance Committee at their next scheduled meeting. 5. If you are a Resident or a Guest and are driving a vehicle without a barcode or the barcode on your vehicle is not working, you must show an active Moors ID or you may not use the South Gate to come in. You will need to make a U-turn or go directly to the North Gate and use the Visitor’s Lane. The guard at the North Gate will screen you as if you were a regular visitor.

6. Tailgating, or a vehicle with four wheels on the grass, will result in that vehicle being automatically booted without prior warning.

7. Commercial Vehicles—A prohibited motor vehicle shall be described as:

(a) Any motor vehicle which has an attached sign, logo, visible equipment rack(s), containers, tools, toolboxes or cargo.

(b) Any camper, mobile home, motor home, house trailer or any other trailer of any description.

(c) Any motor vehicle with less than four (4) Wheels including motor scooters, mopeds or an “ATV” or “ATC”. Motorcycles are permitted, unless marked in a commercial manner.

This prohibition of parking shall not apply to temporary parking of commercial vehicles such as for pick up trucks or delivery, or any other temporary commercial services or government owned private passenger vehicles. No on-grass parking shall be permitted.

8. Expired Tags—are considered a violation of The Moors Parking Rules & Regulations. Vehicles with expired tags or missing tags can not park in the community.

9. For complaints call the Consumer Services Department at 305-375-4222.


Parking Permits

Remember to call the South Gate 305-821-9327 when you have an unexpected guest to request a Street Parking Pass for your visitor. For all other events, call the management office 24 hours in advance and request parking permits, limited to no more than 15 passes per home. Absolutely NO PARKING ON THE GRASS will be allowed.


Architectural Modification Form

If you would like to make any modification to your home, make sure you complete an "Architectural Modification Form" and bring it to the administrative office for approval.
