Take advantage of twice-weekly garbage collection
Before a storm arrives, please dispose of small trash items and yard waste using your twice-weekly garbage collection service. All waste must fit within the green waste cart, and the lid must be fully closed.
Please do not begin any tree pruning or cleanup activities, or place trash out on the curb during a Tropical Storm or Hurricane Watch or Warning. The Association will not be able to collect it, so plan your cleanup before a storm effectively.
Schedule a Bulky Waste pickup
To prepare for a storm, schedule a bulky waste pickup in advance by calling 3-1-1 or visit www.miamidade.gov/bulkywaste. Remember to schedule your pickup first before placing trash at the right-of-way. After scheduling, you’ll receive a pickup number—please notify the onsite office of this number for proper coordination.
You also can drop off trash at one of the Neighborhood Trash and Recycling Centers. Residents can dispose of tree cuttings and other household trash at Palm Springs North, 7870 NW 178th St, daily from 7 am to 5:30 pm.
