ABC shows moved to a new channel effective August 4, 2025
ABC added to The Moors lineup on channel 3
You may have heard in the news that there have been changes to our local ABC station. Rest assured, we’re continuing to receive uninterrupted ABC programming. However, the affiliate name has changed for customers in The Moors. Please see below for further details.
On Monday, August 4, 2025, the ABC affiliate switched from WPLG to WSVN, along with some additional changes to the channel lineup. ABC programming was added to our Moors channel lineup and is now available on channel 3.
What does this mean?
- ABC WSVN was added to our Moors channel lineup and found on channel 3
- Defy-WSVN, an ABC-affiliated subchannel, was added on channel 28
- GRIO WSVN was rebranded to 365BLK and remained on channel 35
- Local 10 WPLG (formerly ABC WPLG) remained available on channel 10 and is bringing more local news and other local content
- Affiliated WPLG channels, Heroes & Icons (channel 37) and MeTV (channel 44) did not change
Important information regarding DVR recordings of your ABC shows
If you have scheduled or recorded shows from ABC (WPLG Channel 10), previously saved recordings will no longer be available on your DVR after the transition.

Do I need to update my DVR settings?
If your OnePass is set to record a show from any channel, no action is needed. Your shows will continue to record from ABC on WSVN (ABC Miami) automatically. However, if your OnePass is tied specifically to WPLG, you’ll need to recreate your recording settings using the new WSVN listing in our Moors channel guide.

Be sure to check your DVR settings after the transition (again, August 4, 2025) to ensure your favorite shows continue to record without interruption.
